Setting Up a Statistics and Conditions System in Your Company
From individual posts to full-scale performance management

🏗️ Why You Need a Company-Wide System


While coaching one person on their stats and conditions works, the real impact comes when you:

✅ Standardize the system

✅ Implement it across key posts

✅ Track stats weekly

✅ Build a culture where production, not personality, guides action

🧱 What the Full System Includes

To set this up, you need 5 foundational elements:

  1. Post Products Defined
  2. → Every role must have a clear Valuable Final Product (VFP)
  3. Stat for Each Product
  4. → Choose a weekly-measured quantity or quality indicator
  5. Weekly Graphing
  6. → Use digital tools or printed charts to track progress
  7. Condition Determination
  8. → Managers (or staff) assign conditions weekly using trends
  9. Condition Formulas in Use
  10. → Staff apply the right formula for their stat trend

This creates a full MBS + Ethics Conditions System.



🧰 Step-by-Step Setup

1. Define VFPs for Each Post

Ask:

  1. What does this post actually produce?
  2. What’s the end result that’s valuable?

📌 Examples:

  1. Site Technician → “Sites operational as per SLA”
  2. HR → “Productive and compliant staff hired and onboarded”
  3. Communication Officer → “Requests routed and responded to with minimum delay”

2. Assign Weekly Stats

The stat must be:

  1. Quantifiable (number or %)
  2. Meaningful (represents actual production)
  3. Weekly tracked

📌 Example:

  1. “# of site issues resolved per week”
  2. “% of staff productive & compliant”
  3. “Avg. request handling time (days)”

3. Create Graphing System

Use:

  1. Google Sheets or Excel for starters
  2. Paper forms if needed
  3. Dedicated dashboards later

Plot at least 6–8 weeks per role.

4. Train on Conditions

Introduce the full conditions chart:

  1. From Confusion to Power
  2. When to apply which
  3. Key indicators per condition

Use visual guides, cheat sheets, and examples.

5. Build Weekly Review Habits

  1. Assign weekly stat review meetings
  2. Have each staff member note their condition
  3. Guide them to choose and apply the right formula
  4. Track if formulas were applied and if stat improved
