Understanding Stat Trends and Determining Conditions
How to correctly interpret stat curves and assign the right Ethics Condition

📊 What Is a Stat Trend?

A stat trend is the pattern of motion a statistic shows over time — usually graphed by week.

“Stats don’t lie. If it’s going up, something’s working. If it’s going down, something’s wrong.”

Your job as a manager or staff member is to observe the trend and determine:

  1. Is it going up, down, or stuck?
  2. How fast is the change?
  3. Is this a new post, or established?

This lets you assign the correct Ethics Condition — and guide the next steps.

📈 Types of Stat Trends and What They Mean

Here are common stat shapes and their likely meanings:

Stat Shape

Interpretation

Condition Likely

Chaotic / up-down erratic

No control, no pattern

Confusion

Sudden crash

Something serious happened

Danger

Gradual downtrend

Trouble over time

Emergency

Flat line

No change — hidden problem

Doubt or Non-Existence

Steady rise

Effective, consistent action

Normal

Sharp spike

Boost or breakthrough

Affluence

Long-term high plateau

High output, very stable

Power

Note: The condition doesn’t depend on whether the number is “high” or “low” — it depends on the change or lack of it.

📌 Stat Trend ≠ Moral Judgement

A person in “Emergency” or “Liability” isn’t being judged.

It just means:

🔎 "Based on the stat trend, they’re in that condition — and need to apply that formula."

📉 Example: Emmanuel the Technician

Let’s say Emmanuel’s weekly stat is:

  1. Week 1: 0 (Non-Existence)
  2. Week 2: 2 (Rising — Emergency)
  3. Week 3: 5 (Still up — Normal)
  4. Week 4: 1 (Crash — Danger)
  5. Week 5: 4 (Recovered — Emergency or Normal again)

Each week, Emmanuel or his coach reviews the trend and applies the correct formula. This builds self-correction and faster improvement.

🧠 Use Graphs Weekly

Every post should have:

  1. A stat, updated weekly
  2. A simple graph of last 6+ weeks
  3. A noted condition per week
  4. Action taken (applied formula)

This is your coaching tool — not just a number on a report.

✅ What You Just Learned

  1. Stats must be graphed over time to see trends
  2. Trends guide you to the correct Ethics Condition
  3. You don’t judge — you assign based on data
  4. Everyone should use a stat graph to monitor their condition

🛠️ What You Can Do Next

  1. Choose 2–3 key posts in your team
  2. Start plotting weekly stats for the last 4–6 weeks
  3. Identify trends: rising, falling, flat?
  4. Assign the corresponding condition
  5. Coach your staff to apply the matching formula
